BEACHES
At the end of Poniente beach is the small cove known as La Cala beach. It forms part of Finestrat town. This family friendly resort is a much quieter beach, beautiful and inviting. Here you will find plenty of family entertainment and exceptionally good cuisine, with some of the best seafood restaurants in Benidorm.

Levante beach is just over 2 km long, where as Poniente beach is 3km long, each have been awarded Blue Flags. They have fine golden sands and crystal clear water, with gentle slopes down into the sea. Both have all necessary services and are wheelchair accessible. The promenade runs the full length of both beaches and boasts numerous cafe bars and restaurants.

FINESTRAT AND THE ALLURE OF PUIG CAMPANA
Finestrat is Spain's only town which has a mountain and a beach. Dating back to 1280, this historic town features cobbled streets and colourful town houses, plus a mountain on its doorstep.
​
Puig Campana, is the second highest peak in the region, standing at 1410 metres. It dominates the sky line and is well known for its square gap in the summit, like a missing tooth!
​
You can choose to go round the entire mountain on a circular route, or you can also climb right up to the summit and experience the outstanding views over Benidorm. The variety of trails available are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Trails start at the famous Font del Moli in Finestrat town.

Cycling is hugely popular in this area, due to the variety in terrain and favourable climate. With over 300 routes to choose from, Finestrat regularly attracts professional and amateur cycling groups.
